Inspired by JB, I accomplished 100x 16kg KB TGUs this morning.
I followed the same rules, and added one of my own. Do them in sets of 10 (5x ea. side) and no rests in the middle of a set.
Wow.
I wanted to knock out the first 50 without a break. At 40, the sweat off my brow was so heavy I was literally blinded. I took a moment at 40 to wipe the sweat away, and continued on to 50.
At 50 I looked at the clock. 9:48. Took a sip of water and began again.
The next 50 I did with two short breaks. The first break came after 20. The next small break came after 10 more, and then the last 20 I knocked out as a solid block of madness.
Stopped the watch at 20:31. That’s an average of about one every 12.5 seconds. Not bad, I think. Certainly faster than I had anticipated.
I downed about half a liter of water and just sat very still for about 7-10 minutes. By that time, my heart rate had come down to some reasonable level, and I didn’t feel half bad. I had a little left in me, so I knocked out 150 KB snatches (75 ea. arm) in a set of 50(25/25), 40(20/20), 30(15/15), 20(10/10), 10(5/5). High-rep snatches are beautiful.
I didn’t specifically time myself on the snatches, but I’d say it was around 12 minutes, give or take a minute or so.
This was exactly what I needed coming back from vacation.
On Monday, I’ll hit some heavy lifts for max effort - C&J, Back Squat, Deadlift, Military Press, Bent-Over Barbell Rows. Let’s see what a week off has done to them.

You bastard.
You knocked that out in half the time it too me. Apparently higher rep’s each side is the way to go. I’m not up to doing that many on one side straight with the poor flexibility in my shoulder.. YET.
Nice work.
Yeah. I’m sure switching hands every rep or so surely slows you down. Keep working on that shoulder flexibility. The more you can get that shoulder to float back and sit on your lat, the stronger and more stable you’ll be.
