He’s Back

My neighbor joined me again for yesterday’s workout. He hadn’t been around in a while - preferring, I suppose, a warm bed and his wife over the kettlebell and track.

As he is an old man and hadn’t been at it for a while, we took it slow.

800m run
Rest while partner does the same

He did only one of the 800s. I did the rest at a 1:1 work:rest ratio. All of my 800s were timed and came in between 3:06 and 3:31. Fairly abysmal.

I have realy been hoping to get my 800m down around 2:30. That seems to be a much tougher goal than I had originally anticipated.

Tomorrow is going to be a heavy Squat, Press, Deadlift day. 1RM for each.

Goals:

Squat
250#
Press
140#
Deadlift
360#

That would be a total of a little more than 4.75xBW. I’ll let you all know how it goes.
