No Rest Needed

It was very cold - in the 20s°F, our first freeze was last night - so I think the outdoor kettlebell season has ended. We headed over to the YMCA and found an empty aerobics studio. The first class wasn’t scheduled until 9:30. By that time we’d have each been at work an hour and a half or so.

My neighbor/workout buddy got his own kettlebell. Since we each now have our own, there is no need to prescribe rest periods while partner works, right? =)

Well, not for today anyway.

30x Swings, 20x Squats

20x Swings, 30x Squats
10x (5x ea. arm) Get Ups
10x Swings, 40x Squats
Snatches R/L

The swing/squat combo was awesome. Lots of legs. Swings get the back, squats get the quads. Just enough TGUs between sets to switch it up - not let body get into a groove…or rut.

Whole thing took about 40 minutes. Doesn’t seem like much.
