Slow Grind to 405

This weekend was hot - the hottest it’s been all year. Sunday, at one point, we had a heat index of 105°F. I mowed the lawn, worked in my vegetable garden a bit, blew up an inflatable swimming pool for the kids, grilled some hot dogs for lunch, and got a sunburn.

Calculations Wrong

Wednesday’s workout was in three parts - a warm up and two rounds of work. The two work units were supposed to be roughly equal in intensity. I was so wrong. The second was too difficult to finish in the alloted time and the only trouble with the first was how unbelievably boring it was.
