Calculations Wrong

Wednesday’s workout was in three parts - a warm up and two rounds of work. The two work units were supposed to be roughly equal in intensity. I was so wrong. The second was too difficult to finish in the alloted time and the only trouble with the first was how unbelievably boring it was.

Workout

Warm Up 30:10 Work:Rest
Push Ups
Goblet Squats @ 16kg KB
Swings @ 16kg KB
3 rounds each
Work
1 Clean + 1 Squat + 1 Press @ 2×16kg KB
1 rep every 30sec. for 10 min.
Work II: Ladder 20-10
Push Press @ 2×16kg KB
Burpees

For the second work set, Marathoner and I did 20-15, then skipped to 10 for the sake of time. ~shrug~ Sometimes you don’t hit it out of the park.

I have had some trouble tweaking that 30 sec/10 minutes. you have to use an exercise that is either damn difficult and short (ie deadlifts @ 70%), or takes nearly the entire 30 seconds (barbell snatch burpees).
    Happens sometimes.
and I think you mean ‘units’not ‘unites’

“Units” it is. I’ve also had trouble making that 1rep/30sec for 10min scheme work. ~shrug~ Maybe next time.
    Welcome back to normal reality.
