On my way into work this morning there was nothing good on the radio. I had a fantastic mix CD* in, but have been listening to it for several days. I have a small box of about 15-20 CDs on the rear passenger floorboard of my car. At a stoplight I reached back and grabbed one at random.
In my hand was Los Angeles by the influential late-70s/early-80s punk band X. I couldn’t have picked better if I’d been looking.

That’s all off the top of my head. I’m sure the order is wrong. I may even be missing a band or two. Regardless, it’s a good CD and on my regular play list.

I think I have that same cd.
You do, in fact. I think there are only maybe a half-dozen people in the world with a copy of that compilation CD…and I’m one of them. Good stuff.
X reunited recently. They played Pops back in March. Quite a few 80’s and early 90’s bands seem to be reuniting lately!
Noice compilation… Rock on.
Dave joins us. Nice.
How long have you been lurking?
Welcome aboard, and I do hope you become a regular here. Maybe you’ll join us for a Wednesday morning sometime?
Thanks for the workout, ces. I ache so much that it hurts to cough.
