With about one month until the race, I’ll be mostly staying out of the weight room and into the ‘cardio’ room. I’ll be doing a lot of treadmill running at fast speeds and steep inclines. Over the next 3 weeks I’ll slowly increase the speed, incline and time while decreasing the number of rounds. By the Monday before the race I should be up to 7:30 - fast - at a pretty steep incline.
If I can survive that, I think I’ll do ok on the stairs.

- 5:00 @ 9% incline & 5.5 mph
- 5:00 Rest

- 2km @ ~2:05 / 500m pace
Actually, my average pace came out to be about 2:05, but I was kinda all over the place for most of the row. I couldn’t keep a steady cadence.
