Hard On the Arms

I left my cell phone at home today. I plugged it in to charge last night and completely forgot about it this morning. I’m a little bummed about that.

As I was getting out of my car this morning, in the parking garage at work, I noticed a coworker had just pulled in and parked right across from me. I waited for him and we walked in together.

The first three sets of push ups were all with a pretty narrow hand placement (just inside the shoulders). The next three were a little wider (a bit outside the shoulders) and the last was a very wide hand placement (just inside where the 910mm marks would be for a bench press).

By that last set my arms were burning and my pecs - on the outside, nearest my armpits - felt like they were falling apart. Very very difficult. I haven’t been doing enough upper body muscular endurance activities. That showed today.

After that, Marathoner and I both kinda screwed around. Nothing serious.
