The forecast called for storms and the 5:00am sky looked like it could open up at any moment. Marathoner and I moved indoors. I failed to play an indoor workout last night, so this was made up on the fly.

That Airdyne picture there isn’t the one we have, but it’s similar enough to let you all know what I’m talking about. Pain.
New Bench Press World Record
Awesome. I hope I’m able to compete like this when I’m 85 years old. Not only is it super-cool that she’s 85 years old, she’s an 85 year old woman lifting weights. Even now, there is still enough misinformation floating around that keeps a lot of women from experiencing the benefits of resistance training. That Ms. Coen figured it out at 85 years old is just awesome.
I hope I’m setting world lifting records at 85 years old. Hell, I hope I’m still alive and lifting at 85 years old.

A person who calls him/her self “Rockman” has left me a comment. I get a reasonable amount of spam comments, but they don’t make it through the filters I’ve set up. This comment certainly doesn’t seem like spam, so I let it through. Let’s hope I don’t regret it.
I have no idea who Rockman is. Thought I disagree with his/her assessment, I appreciate his/her concern for my back health and hope s/he sticks around. Really.
To Rockman, who are you? Please tell me how you found this little corner of the interwebs. You mention in your comment you mostly cycle and do a lot of bodyweight stuff. I’m interested in hearing more.
