Kettlebell 300

Favorite Drinkin’ Buddy’s sister and brother-in-law came into town over the Labor Day weekend. Brother-in-law is a kettlebeller also and shared with me something he calls “The Kettlebell 300″. It’s 300 movements of the kettlebell. Simple.

Not easy. Simple. This morning was our morning to try it.

Kettlebell 300 @ 16kg KB
10x (ea. dir.) RTW
10x (ea. dir.) Halo
10x Kettlebell Good Morning
5x (ea. arm) Windmill
10x (ea. arm) 1-Arm Swing
10x (ea. arm) 1-Arm High Pull
10x (ea. arm) Snatch
10x (ea. arm) Clean & Press
10x (ea. arm) Circular Clean
10x (ea. arm) Thruster
10x (ea. dir.) Cossack Curl
10x (ea. arm/leg) Reverse Lunge & Press
5x (ea. side) Turkish Get Up
10x Deck Squat
10x (ea. arm) Bent Over Row
10x Crunch Press
10x (ea. side) Russian Twist
10x Push Ups, both hands on KB, KB balanced on handle bottoms-up

We didn’t strictly time it, but a rough look at the clock says we did it in about 25-30 minutes.

Jog & Carry
P1: Begins Walking around the track w/ 2KBs in Rack position
P2&P3: Jogs one lap + however far to catch P1.
Switch. Repeat. Everybody gets a few turns at all the spots.

kettlebell 300 is a steve maxwell training circuit. He has some interesting ideas, but he’s also one of those guys who believes “old timey strongmen did x therefore x must be great.”
