Favorite Drinkin’ Buddy’s sister and brother-in-law came into town over the Labor Day weekend. Brother-in-law is a kettlebeller also and shared with me something he calls “The Kettlebell 300″. It’s 300 movements of the kettlebell. Simple.
Not easy. Simple. This morning was our morning to try it.
- Kettlebell 300 @ 16kg KB
- 10x (ea. dir.) RTW
- 10x (ea. dir.) Halo
- 10x Kettlebell Good Morning
- 5x (ea. arm) Windmill
- 10x (ea. arm) 1-Arm Swing
- 10x (ea. arm) 1-Arm High Pull
- 10x (ea. arm) Snatch
- 10x (ea. arm) Clean & Press
- 10x (ea. arm) Circular Clean
- 10x (ea. arm) Thruster
- 10x (ea. dir.) Cossack Curl
- 10x (ea. arm/leg) Reverse Lunge & Press
- 5x (ea. side) Turkish Get Up
- 10x Deck Squat
- 10x (ea. arm) Bent Over Row
- 10x Crunch Press
- 10x (ea. side) Russian Twist
- 10x Push Ups, both hands on KB, KB balanced on handle bottoms-up
We didn’t strictly time it, but a rough look at the clock says we did it in about 25-30 minutes.
- Jog & Carry
- P1: Begins Walking around the track w/ 2KBs in Rack position
- P2&P3: Jogs one lap + however far to catch P1.
- Switch. Repeat. Everybody gets a few turns at all the spots.

kettlebell 300 is a steve maxwell training circuit. He has some interesting ideas, but he’s also one of those guys who believes “old timey strongmen did x therefore x must be great.”
